About the Practice

OBR Counseling is a specialized private practice focused exclusively on compulsive sexual behavior, sex addiction, and their relational impact. Olivia Rosenzweig, LMHC, CSAT holds New York State licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the CSAT credential from the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) — a post-graduate certification requiring supervised clinical hours, written examination, and demonstrated competency in treating compulsive sexual behavior and betrayal trauma.

The practice is not a general therapy practice that also sees sex addiction clients. This is the primary clinical focus, and has been from the start. All services are provided via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth throughout New York State.

What This Practice Treats

  • Compulsive sexual behavior and sex addiction (individuals)
  • Problematic pornography use and pornography addiction
  • Betrayal trauma — individual support for partners following disclosure or discovery
  • Formal disclosure facilitation for couples
  • Couples therapy following infidelity or compulsive sexual behavior
  • Men's group therapy for sexual compulsivity and pornography concerns
  • Men's intimacy, relational, and sexual dysfunction concerns
  • Shame and self-worth work related to sexual behavior

What This Practice Does Not Treat

Being clear about fit protects referred clients and ensures appropriate placement. The following are outside the scope of this practice:

  • Crisis intervention or acute psychiatric stabilization
  • Substance use disorders as a primary presenting concern
  • Clients requiring intensive outpatient or inpatient levels of care
  • Minors and adolescents
  • Clients located outside New York State at the time of sessions
  • General anxiety, depression, or relationship concerns without a compulsive sexual behavior component

If you're unsure whether a client is a fit, a brief consultation call is always welcome.

Fees: Individual and couples sessions are $225 per 50-minute session. The practice is out-of-network with all insurance plans; clients may seek reimbursement through out-of-network benefits. Superbills are provided upon request.

Availability: Current availability changes. Please contact the practice directly to confirm openings before referring a client with time-sensitive needs.
